Booking:

Can I reserve via the website? Yes, it will direct you to Airbnb however you can reserve with Booking.com

Can I reserve over the phone? Yes just give us a call: 1 800 657 1664 

Is it essential to book in advance? Yes it is highly recommended to get the type of accommodation you prefer.

How do I cancel my booking? You can cancel through the method you reserved, email or give us a call.

Reservations made through a 3rd party website will need to be cancelled on the 3rd party website.

What is the cancellation policy? Please check with the site you reserved through for exact policies. We will work with you in emergency situations.

Can I change my booking? Yes, please contact us through your reservation method to inquire if we have availability on the dates you would like. 

 

 

Can I book without a credit card? No, we’d need a valid credit/debit card in order to secure the booking.

How can I make a group booking? Please email or call us for a group booking.

Can I be sure that all my friends will stay in the same dorm? If the room is available then we will accommodate you and your party. It is essential to reserve especially in large groups. We will try our absolute best to accommodate everyone in the same dorm if you booked individual beds, however we can’t guarantee this.

Does The Landing supply bed linen and towels? Yes, the beds will be made when you arrive. We provide bath towels. 

Do you have a guest kitchen? Yes, it is shared and you and your guests are welcome to use it. Please leave it better than you found it.

Do you have female dormitories? Not specifically.

 

Do you have laundry facilities? You are welcome to use the washing machine, and hang your items to dry.

Other information

 

Do you accept pets? Yes with a $200peso deposit - this is to ensure you clean up after your pet.

 

What time is check in and check out? Check in is after 12pm, Check out is before 12pm. If there is a guest in the room or a tight turnaround you will have to be patient with cleaning schedules.

 

I’m arriving late, will reception be open? We have 2 property managers who live on site and are happy to assist you.

 

 

Can I smoke in my room? No and you will be asked to leave and pay a $2000peso fine if you do.

 

How do I get from the airport/train/bus station to The Landing? You can drive if you have a car, hire a taxi or see if one of our property managers can pick you up. Our location is remote so it is recommended you drive.

Can I invite people who aren’t staying The Landing? Guests are allowed in the common areas and will have to leave by 10pm. They are not welcome in the rooms. Extra guests are a charge of $10USD in Tipis, the Penthouse and Casita. They are $25USD to stay in the dorm room.

Can I bring my own food and drinks into the hostel? Yes, we encourage you bring water and food so you are comfortable and do not have to leave often. We are in a remote area.
